Sikri Junior Academy was founded in 2013 with a simple but powerful vision: to give every child in Oyugis access to world-class education in a nurturing, Christ-centred environment.

Over the years, we have grown into one of the most trusted junior academies in Homa Bay County, producing graduates who are academically equipped, morally grounded, and ready to contribute meaningfully to Kenya’s future. We follow Kenya’s Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), blending local relevance with global standards.

Our Founding Story

A Vision Born in 2013

2013 — Founded

Opened with 80 learners and a clear mission to transform education in Oyugis, Homa Bay County.

2016 — First Major Expansion

New classrooms, a science lab, and a computer room added to accommodate growing enrolment.

2019 — CBC Transition

Fully transitioned to the Competency Based Curriculum ahead of the national rollout.

2023 — 10-Year Milestone

500+ learners enrolled. A decade of academic excellence and transformational education.
