Junior Secondary
Advanced CBC learning for Grades 7–9 that develops critical thinking, research skills, and leadership.
Advanced Learning. Purposeful Pathways.
Sikri Junior Academy's Junior Secondary programme delivers a well-structured, CBC-aligned education for learners in Grades 7 to 9. At this stage, learning moves from foundational competencies into deeper subject analysis - developing the critical thinking, research skills, and personal leadership that senior secondary and future careers demand.
Our learners are mentored, monitored, and supported throughout Grades 7 to 9, with structured academic programmes, career guidance, and leadership opportunities built into the school day. They benefit from our rich co-curricular activities, and boarding options are available for learners from across the region.
A Curriculum Built for Depth
Junior Secondary learners engage with the full CBC subject offering across Sciences, Mathematics, Languages, Social Studies, Technical subjects, and the Arts. The emphasis shifts from understanding to analysis - learners are expected to evaluate, argue, and apply knowledge in sophisticated and meaningful ways.
Structured revision, regular assessment, and individual academic monitoring ensure every learner is on track and well-prepared for the demands of senior secondary education. See our academic results and achievements page for evidence of our success.
Our CBC Curriculum
Leadership, Mentorship & Career Awareness
Structured sessions help learners understand their strengths and begin exploring the career directions that align with their subject pathways. We expose learners to diverse career paths across STEM, arts, service sectors, and entrepreneurship.
Prefect roles, school clubs, and service responsibilities build confidence, character, and a sense of civic responsibility from Grade 7. Explore our co-curricular activities programme.
Projects, research tasks, and field activities connect academic content to real-world situations and future application.
Every element of the Grade 7–9 programme is intentionally designed to prepare learners for a confident, capable transition. Our learners consistently excel in their KJSEA exams.
